Community Support Worker (Part-Time and Zero Hours)

Location: Suffolk and Norfolk
Hours: Part-Time or Zero Hours Contract (flexible working patterns available)
Reports To: Senior Staff

Role Overview:

As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and achieve their personal goals. You will provide practical and emotional support in line with their care plans, ensuring a person-centered approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring clients are comfortable and safe.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
  • Help clients engage in community activities, fostering social inclusion.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ needs or conditions to the relevant team.
  • Maintain accurate records of care delivered, adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations.
  • Uphold the company’s commitment to respect, dignity, and compassion in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided.
